Assìnge is the oldest professional eagle watch group in the world. Founded in 1673 by Jaymond Harrowell Talamére as a bird watch club that slowly carved out other birds until becoming exclusively about eagles. It now has over 1,300 registered members all over the world and throws a large event in Manchester (UK) on the third Friday of every March.
